Who We Are?
We’re Ves (short for Veselin) and Victoria — both born in Bulgaria and living in the UK for the past 25 years. Every year we return to Bulgaria to visit family and friends, but in 2025 we spent a full six months travelling around the country, discovering hidden gems, meeting locals, and exploring what life in modern Bulgaria really looks like.
Over the last two decades, we’ve visited more than 90% of European countries. That perspective taught us that no country is perfect — each has its own beauty and its challenges. Bulgaria is no exception.
